Dr. Veronica Hayduk is a licensed and board-certified primary care naturopathic doctor in private practice. She received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic & Health Sciences, one of only four accredited naturopathic schools in the country. She also graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies & Psychology with specializations in Biology and Microbiology.
In addition, Dr. Hayduk has advanced training in Environmental Microbiology and Cell Biology and was an intern at the National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, Maryland) in the Biopsychology & Neuroendocrinology research department. She also worked with Dr. Andrew Weil and his staff at the Integrative Department located in Tucson, Arizona.
While at Southwest College, Dr. Hayduk trained with the Cancer Treatment Centers of America who utilize a patient specific blend of allopathic and complementary medicine to treat cancer patients. Also, contributed to a peer reviewed journal article exploring blood glutathione levels. She has also studied Biotherapeutic Drainage in Canada, a powerful and effective system of cellular detoxification. Dr. Hayduk is also an active member of the National Association of Naturopathic Physicians and local naturopathic organizations, spending much time in licensing efforts for qualified naturopaths. She has been accepted to the Cambridge Who's Who of Emerging Leaders and other distinctions. Also, Dr. Hayduk operates a patient-direct apothecary, so her patients are assured that only the very best is shipped to them. In addition, her company is a manufacturer for a top quality medical salve with botanical and homeopathic ingredients found in no other product on the market. She is also on the Speaker's Bureau for many hospitals and organizations, such as NIH. Dr. Hayduk has authored many articles and e-books both locally and in national publications; including guest appearances on radio and Internet programming.
Dr. Veronica Hayduk's passion as a physician is to work in a partnership with her patients by giving each of them what they need to heal themselves. By allowing the wisdom of the body to guide the healing process, she sees miracles happen every day.
When she's not assisting patients, Dr. Hayduk enjoys organic gardening & cooking, lecturing and writing on various health topics & playing with her cats and dog (that's a lot of fur!). Her husband and Mom also accompany her as they explore the world around them.
